About Us

Stronger together

As individuals we all have strengths, we understand that there are days when you might not feel this, but you do. It is our belief that bringing people together makes us all stronger and we will work alongside you to find your strengths. This might be you and your worker, or this may be as part of a group. No matter how your support is delivered, doing life with someone standing beside you is always better, and makes us all stronger.

Willing Services started from humble beginnings, with a desire to work with individuals, and their families to provide a holistic approach to care and support. We have grown and we are proud of our journey that has been formed from word-of-mouth referrals. Willing Services are looking forward to welcoming new participants to our organisation and working alongside them to meet their NDIS goals.

Disability and mental health are not the same for everyone. Each participant that we work with has their own story. We will take time to get to know you and ensure that you are matched with the right support and get the support you need, not what suits us.

Community and social connection are important to all of us. Our events and activities are aimed at ensuring that everyone is welcome, everyone is included. You may be the life of the party, or prefer to quietly observe, either way, we will see you as the individual that you are and make sure you are fully supported, always.

If you feel that we might be the right fit for you, or you have some questions for us, please call us, email us, text us. We will work with what feels right for you, with no pressure. We can meet and see how together we can build a stronger you.

Our Vision

“Stronger Together: We envision a community where people with disabilities are empowered through inclusive, culturally respectful, and person-centred support—building strength, independence, and belonging through every connection.”

Why Trees?

Why did we choose a tree to represent Willing Services?

Trees embody growth, resilience and strength, qualities that reflect our vision.  Trees provide shade, shelter and resources to build our homes and wood to keep us warm. Yet even the tallest tree depends on sunshine and water to thrive.

Working together is what makes us stronger and allows us to grow.

Willie Alefaio

FOUNDER | SUPPORT PROVIDER

I am Willie, the founder of Willing Services.

Originally from Samoa, I have been living, working and raising my family in Australia since 1998.  Through my upbringing and experience it has given me an appreciation of diversity in cultures and people from all walks of life. This has helped shape who I am today with my values, beliefs and vision in life.

I have a strong sense of community, and alongside my support work, I assist vulnerable people in the community in the way of food banks and feeding and supporting people who are sleeping rough.  I see this as an honour and believe as a community we should be valued on how we treat our most vulnerable.

In my own time I regularly attend church and spend time with my community and family.  I love music, I play the guitar, this is my therapy.

Professionally, my career has been in disability employment support, training and supporting individuals to overcome barriers that are preventing them from living the life they see for themselves.

I have a sense of calm which allows others to feel at ease, and to be confident in their individuality.  To lead is to serve and I believe these qualities are pivotal to supporting individuals living with disabilities and mental health conditions.

Matching You With the Support You Need

You might need someone to assist with tidying up around the house, or have someone stand beside you when you have appointments to attend. Maybe you need someone to be a voice for you when you are feeling overwhelmed.

Just like the people we support who have different support needs, we are individuals with different strengths and abilities. The perfect fit for you may be a worker who is bubbly and enthusiastic, or someone more reserved might be your preference. We have someone to match the support you need and will ensure it is delivered how it suits you.

We will regularly check in and make sure you are happy with your supports. Your NDIS funding is for you, and there to ensure that you are living the life you want to lead.  It is not about what suits us, and we will make sure that you feel acknowledged and heard.

Experience support that’s reliable, respectful, and culturally grounded.
